78 per cent of Parkside Office Gallery at Tiergarten let

Just before the new year, Dupuis GmbH & Co. Asset Management KG were able to secure two more major tenants for the Parkside Office Gallery at Katharina-Heinroth-Ufer 1 in Berlin Mitte: The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung will already be moving into the former Trigon building in January with the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency in the Health System (IQTiG) following in the second quarter.

After the let agreed with the KaDeWe Group in early 2014, these new tenants have reduced vacancy at the Parkside Office Gallery from 40 to 22 per cent within six months. “About 5,500 m² of the total rentable space of 25,000 m² at the Parkside are still available. Given the current situation, we are very confident that the Parkside Office Gallery will be fully let by the end of 2015,” says André Pilß, Asset Manager Dupuis GmbH & Co. Asset Management KG.

The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, a German political foundation, has rented a space of 1,430 m² on the sixth floor. The tenancy agreement came into force on 1 January 2015 with remodelling work currently under way. The representatives of the foundation are happy to have found a location at the Parkside Office Gallery which offers a single large office space while also being in close proximity to the main building of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

The German Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency in the Health System chose the Parkside for its location but also for the additional facilities available. The daycare centre directly in the building makes it easier for employees to balance work and family life. The newly founded institute works on behalf of the Federal Joint Committee to create measures for quality assurance in the health system and will move about 60 to 80 employees into the entire fifth floor with around 3,000 m². The property service company Savills provided consulting in both cases.

The Parkside Office Gallery offers a good infrastructure location in direct proximity to the Zoological Gardens alongside additional services such as conference rooms, a cafeteria, fitness and relax facilities as well as individual options for office design. In addition to the new tenants, the Parkside Office Gallery houses companies such as Datev, WMP Eurocom and Tyre24.
