Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin Visits Comcity
On October 12, 2020, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has visited homecity and Comcity’s second-phase construction site, calling the project an investment showcase.
Comcity’s second phase includes two office buildings with a gross leasable area of 61,000 sq. m. and a four-star Novotel hotel with 150 rooms operated by the international chain AccorHotels. With the project being further enhanced, the infrastructure of the complex will be increased to 10,000 sq. m.
During the working meeting, Moscow Government representatives and PPF Real Estate Russia executives discussed the paramount importance of the infrastructure to be built at homecity residential complex. A kindergarten and school will be built here. Numerous playgrounds will also be provided for young residents. Green areas will become a place to relax for whole families, while sports grounds and fitness centers will help maintain a healthy lifestyle. The infrastructure includes shops, catering facilities, and other popular goods and services outlets that will provide residents with maximum comfort and improve the quality of life in the entire community.
The Mayor highly appreciated Comcity's concept of integrated development, its implementation, and investment potential. Sergei Sobyanin stressed that Comcity is a unique facility for New Moscow, a real “city within a city”. It is one of the few high-quality decentralized projects in Moscow.
Comcity’s second phase will increase the number of jobs to 16,000. And more than 2,000 residents will be able to make homecity their home. The second phase of the Office Park and residential estate is planned to be delivered in Q2 2022. The total area of the two phases will exceed 427,000 sq. m.
