
Leading Russian IT Company Systematica Becomes Moscow Office Park Comcity’s Next Tenant
Comcity park in so-called New Moscow, PPF Group’s currently biggest real estate project in Russia, has got a new key leaseholder. PPF Real Estate Russia has signed an agreement with Systematica (Group of Companies Systematica – GKS), a leading Russian IT company, to lease 17,400 sq. m in the A class office complex currently under construction. Such a step will allow GKS to unite all of its Moscow-based divisions under one roof and to improve working conditions for its employees.
The tranasction is some of the Moscow real estate market’s biggest. Consulting services related to the transaction were provided by Jones Lang LaSalle and BBH. The Moscow office of BBH, a legal company, was involved in drafting and arranging the agreement documentation.
Comcity Alpha phase construction is nearing its end, with the delivery to leaseholders set to take place in the middle of 2014. The Aplha phase includes 107,500 sq m of leasable area and it has got an LEED ecological certification.
Tomas Lastovka, Development Director at PPF Real Estate Russia said: “We believe in huge potential of the territory also known as New Moscow and tremendous interest in Comcity by leaseholders confirms that. Prior to delivering Comcity’s first phase, 70% of the area is already leased.”
