Flagship leaseholders move into Comcity office park
Rostelecom, one of Russia’s and Europe’s biggest telecommunications companies, has completed the move of some of its divisions to Comcity, a Class A office park in New-Moscow. Employees of one of the company’s subsidiaries, the Center Macro-regional Branch, have taken up residence in the spacious new office premises which were built using the latest and most innovative technology. RD Construction was the general contractor for the interior fit-out of the Rostelecom offices.
The move completes the relocation of all major occupiers into the Alpha phase of the Comcity office development. Other companies active in the IT and telecommunications sector, including Sistematika group of companies, Asteros and Oracle, relocated to Comcity in 2015.
The “city within a city” concept, which is unique in the Russian market, offers its occupiers not only high class office space including a high-capacity car park but also a large retail gallery which provides everything required for a comfortable working environment and spending time outside the office. New restaurants, cafés and shops continue to open within the Comcity premises. Outlets that have opened to the public during recent months include the CAFETERA network of corporate catering facilities, Starhit café, Pasta Deli, Louis Charden and the Piaterochka supermarket. The total leasable area taken up by new occupiers in Comcity’s retail gallery exceeds 2,100 square metres.
“Comcity is developing at an accelerating pace and has been thriving for some time now. Every day, more than 7,000 employees of major Russian and international companies arrive to work at our office park. We truly have everything required for a comfortable working environment here, as well as for leisure time – just like in an actual city,” said Nikola Obaydin, Office Leasing Director at PPF Real Estate Russia.
